What's your 480 called?
For reasons I have no answer for - my 480 has permenantly been known as Greta
It just fits
she follows Herbie the 72' Beetle - still in a garage
and Kochanski (of Red Dwarf fame) the '82 1.7 340GLE who I still miss dearly!
Anyone else named there car?

Whatever evil names I can think of
deceived, for another car was made. In the land of Mordor, in the fires of Mount Doom, the Dark Lord
Sauron forged in secret a master car, to control all others. And into this car he poured his cruelty,
his malice and his will to dominate all life. One car to rule them all.

My car is called Sparky.
Its called sparky cos in the hardest rain on the dual carridgeway (i live in Devon) it looses power and splutters. So i said to it - "Sparky, don't be gay"*. The name has stuck and is now uttered when speedo/info centre/mysterious squeek/rattling exhaust happens.
*As in South Park where Stan has a dog which is gay but he dosnt want a gay dog cos he dosnt understand its ok to be gay.Is the same whith my 480 - I dont realise its ok for it to constantly not to work properly/vibrate/electrical problems etc etc
So it is called Sparky. I still love Sparky cos it is my best ever (and fastest) car.
Above: Sparky at a Tidal Ford near Bantham last Sunday

Whoever said : " A Volvo cannot be tuned ?!? "
