hey you lot!
Your a funny bunch!Catgroom I thought cats hated water?anyway thats how much I know!
Ok so does anyone know the best springs to buy?I know you can get the usual koni, PI etc but not really after such a small drop.
I'm fitting 17 rial rims, so how low would be sensible?I would think 35mm front and 40 mm rear but not sure, I guess it depends on the tyres I get!?
The Fintec springs are high quality and TUV approved etc but judging by the picture car seemed quite high, are you guys sure it wasn't slightly lifted up?
Cheers people
anthony

PI = 40mm drop
Also: I don't get your reasening about 35 in front and 40 rear for the drop, seeing the 480 has more room in the wheelarches in front than in the rear.

Hehehehe, nog problemo
I'm affraid you won't see much difference between 35mm and 40mm drop seeing there is always room for a 5mm difference between the drop stated and given bij the springs.
You could go for a 40/30mm drop but that is more expensive seeing you have to buy 2 springs of 2 brands (2x 40mm PI and 2x 30mm Fintec for example)
I do believe there are 60/40 loweringspring sets, don't know the brand though........
Sent Daniel480 a PM he had a 480 with 60/40 drop

Hey guys
I appreciate the replies, I think I'm going to opt for 40mm all round, if anyone know of any springs other than the usual let me know!
I don't think I'd fancy two different types of spring although nice thought!
be good

Morning!
Your right but I think if I improved the bump stops (Poly bushes) it should be okay but who knows!
I'll give it a try and see what happens!Look at Martins 'car of the month' Dec 04, thats the stance I want but slightly lower again.
be good
