**Wanted volvo sr-701**

Hi every one iÃ‚Â´m serching for the sr-701 radio..

I imagine that you have the cd controller or the graphic equalizer...right?

he he i have them both..

today iÃ‚Â´m using a cr-901 an the cd-401 and the eq behind the glowbox. and a amp.
the only radio you can use all 3 at once. the only thing is that there is no place for the cd- controller and the eq at the same time.
So now i want to change the stereo.

The sr-701 is a nice radio with its in-built equalizer and "pixel" screen

Anyway, good luck finding one and nice to see you have the original bodykit!

I was thinking to use my cd-401 and a amp ha-4140 so i maybe gonna sell my eq-611.. and my vovlo cd changer.

But how hard shall it be to get hold of one radio???

I have an equalizer too!

But I need the original fitting kit : the EQ611-7 !!
Now why you want to change stereo? Do you want to sell also your CR901?

the fiting kit bought i new from my Volvo dealer think it cost about 10 punds.
Why iÃ‚Â´m changing, im not intressted of the tape player thing any more, never using it.
And i like the sr-701 clean look, just a display and buildt in eq!! The problem i have now is that i like all of the original stuff and if i change the head unit i donÃ‚Â´t need the casette holder any more..

hard decision.
maby i sell the cr-901. after i tryied the 701 and see if i like it. If i can get hold of one...

Eheheheh you'd need to buy another 480!!
One with the original stuff (CR radio, equalizer, cassette holder,etc...), and the other one with a modern stereo!
I have your same problem: I love the original optionals for our 480, but I would like a radio with CD player and removable front...
I thought to put a VolvoCT 906 with cd player but I could not connect the equalizer..."hard decision"!!

Let me know if you want to sell your Cr901...

Could you tell me if the fitting kit for 480's equalizer includes the template for assembly?
My equalizer is like this:

but in Volvo told me that the template for 480 isn't produced anymore: is this true?

Yes, there are many possibilities, one should have at least a few 480Ã‚Â´s as il Conte pointed out

il Conte, I donÃ‚Â´t see you would need anything else than the fitting kit: 1384 594 or? ItÃ‚Â´s the same kit for cd-401, tp-701 and eq-611/6117. Did you try with this number?

No, I have not tried, but a friend of mine told me that is out of production in Volvo...
Monday morning I will try to go to Volvo with your code...
I'll give you news!
