Injectors
Does anybody know if the injectors for a B18E and B18FP are interchangeble, or do they work with different pressures.

Well, according to Haynes:
B18E: 2-3ohms / 2.5bar
B18FP: 14-15ohms / 3.5bar
I'd say they're not interchangeable, unless you start adding resistor packs and changing the fuel pressure regulator - if you can even do it like that...
Anyway, hope that helps a bit.

Thanks for the info.
That was my problem, had the wrong injectors in my engine.
I put a B18E engine in a B18EP car, and forgot to change the injectors.
So now i have a running car again.

Hi,
From what we have discovered, B18E uses low impedance injectors and B18FP uses hifh impedance ones.
Basically if you use low impedance injectors you can toast the ECU, for this you would need a set of resistors i believe (don't know exactly how and where).
I'm looking for injectors for my B18FP engine aswell, and i might try the Turbo ref. Bosch 0280150741 ones as they are high impedance.
Best regards
