My 480 replacement

Some things just can't be placed elsewhere. Have you been speeding and got fined? Or spotted a nice new Volvo on the web somewhere? All non-480 messages can be posted in this part of the board.

It's very smart looking car and goes like stink on a wave of torque and the sound of those 6 pistons is awesome.

I'll get some pics of the power plant after I clean it.

Sweet! I was thinking of one of those before I bought the 480. At the time I think the running costs and insurance were too high. Probably still is. I do love the sound of the straight 6.

Nice purchase.

Happy driving!

Dont wanna sound girly but O-MY-GOD!!

You are awesome!! I am not a big fan of Beamers either, but I would KILL for a 850 (pop ups! :P) and of course the V12!! and the original M1-of course I say M1 and everyone assumes i mean that excuse for a new one!!

Sorry to invade the topic but to find someone that likes the same BMs as I do is amazing as everyone usually goes "Theyre rubbish I want an M3!"

Very nice Martin but that 480 squished in the middle of those pics would be my prefered choice...tho RWD is tempting! ;)

Driving it today around heathrow was great. The power is instant and around the same as a 480 turbo rich mod without lag and sounds super.

had it sideways once already but need to learn it before doing it again.

The best things I like

2.5lt instant 6 pot power
the boot is great no more crappy little boot where everyone can see in
the seats are very nice
it looks mean
the sunroof goes all the way back
goes like a hot cat and turbo kit off the shelf / ecu mods and a massive support forum.

things I don't like

the wing mirrors zoom in far to much
mpg could be better lol

I think i will get another 480 but it will need to be a super mod again with a big turbo or something 480 special.
