Good overnight stop....

Hi All, I'll be collecting my 480 from Wells next the sea, Norfolk, and driving all the way upto Cairnryan, Collection is on the 9th Oct and I depart for Northern Ireland on the 11th, I will likely stop halfway and spend the night (10th) somewhere, anyone got any suggestions, somewhere pleasant, scenic maybe, and have a nice meal and a beer that night....

Leeds, Harrogate looks like the halfway point, maybe a bit further depending on time....

Hi Colm, hey we were in Spiddle (is that right?) just up the coast from you at the end of August on a whirlwind tour of Ireland....left PUS at home and went pillion on the Triumph.

Where are you sailing to...Stranraer or Holyhead?

Harrogate is a lovely place and well worth a visit, Leeds is ok too but very busy. You may be better off stopping north Lake District area, whatever, enjoy your trip and your new acquisition

Found a nice B&B in Malham, so will spend the night/day in the Dales.

Staying in a wee place called "Beck Hall" on cove road.
