Colin McRae...

Some things just can't be placed elsewhere. Have you been speeding and got fined? Or spotted a nice new Volvo on the web somewhere? All non-480 messages can be posted in this part of the board.

I heard about this, such a shame. I shook his hand once at a local rally, he seemed so friendly and nice! :(

It is a very sad news to rally world.
I will always remember him runing around with extinguisher on Rally Finland trying to put out the fire about 200 meters from end of SS.
I think Colin was the one in last 10 yrs who made so much to promote WRC by nothing more than driving.
no car, why drive a car if you can fly SAAB

Well that and the series of award winning computer games that bear his name... but I get what you mean! :)

very sad news! I can't imagine what it must be like to loose a husband and a son, or brother and dad at the same time!

Agreed, very sad news. such a massive waste of talent, but also must be equally distressing for his wife & daughter/family. :(
