Age is Relative...........:)

Some things just can't be placed elsewhere. Have you been speeding and got fined? Or spotted a nice new Volvo on the web somewhere? All non-480 messages can be posted in this part of the board.

Ernie was 19 when he started dreaming about 480s. He was 23 when his 480turbo was built. Some 11 years, 2 mazdas and a vw later he could afford to own and drive it, which he enjoys for nearly 2 years now.

As you said at the begining Joolz "Age is Relative". I do not feel old when I drive my cars but I sure do when I see that with one exception all the others on the list are young enough to be either my child or grandchild. I wonder if I am the oldest 480 owner in the country[or the world!]

there is a lot of info in these values... one big aspect are two other things 1) how long one is driving 480, as a model (so more than one )

2) how long one is driving the same one.

I bet the score would be a lot more practical
Lots of "young" men start nowadays in a cheap fast turbo or so, but leave it as soon as they got the money to buy something else or more practical ?

heheh this might make u a lot younger in the statistics...
luck,
JPF

following on from volvofox I fell in love with the very first one and we bought one[an E?] and although we [my husband] went off them for a while as the early ones were very unreliable and we were not able to fix them ourselves but we came back again and altogether we must have had about six over the years. We had one each when he died. I think we have had one E one F a couple of L's an M and an N. One at least was a Turbo. I am not going to add any of that up or I would take off like a Turbo off the top of Joolz list but I think you can safely say I do quite like them.
