Now my 480 has nearly everything

Some things just can't be placed elsewhere. Have you been speeding and got fined? Or spotted a nice new Volvo on the web somewhere? All non-480 messages can be posted in this part of the board.

Now my 480 has nearly everything

Post by Patrick 480 Turbo » Mon Aug 23, 2004 9:04 pm

In the last weeks I did very much on my 480, some extras were added

- 94 leather interieur
- 94 air condition(2 days for 4 guys, I wouldn'T do it again :badmood: )
- Headlamp Washers
- Dust Filter

the only things that are missing will be added in winter(cruise control, seat heaters and the roller luggage blind) :hopping:

Patrick, air conditioning!? Fitted from a '94 donor yes? I know you said you wouldn't do it again, but could you post on how to do it? Would be nice to know I could fit it if I wanted to!

Sounding good.

It was a lot of work, first you have to strip the whole front of the car(bumper, front mask, ....). Then we had to mount the AC cooler and the other hoses for the AC(the hoses are the worst to put in the car), then the cooler for the power steering fluid, disassamble the whole cockpit to put the other heating mechanism inside, the you have to take an other power steering pump and mount the compressor of the ac where the power steering pump was mounted. Afterwards you have to mount the steering pump over the generator. You also hae to change the cable tree for the heating. So I hope I have not forgotten something. So who will be next doing this?
