Hi I'm looking for a driver's side ....retainer? You know, the bit with the red button on that's bolted to the central side...the bit you push the button and it releases the buckle...yeah, that bit.
Mine has given up and they can't repair it and, I like living so want to try and get it fixed. They have advised against an aftermarket one as it has to all be wired in and apparently ''isn't very good''....
So, if anyone has one or can advise on an alternative (are 440/460s the same?) It's for a 1990 ES if this is important.

I used a 440 one on my 1989 ES (before pre-tensioners) and although it’s a slightly different length it works fine and has same wiring. It was still available from main dealer about 18 months ago, unlike 480 ones.

Hi Eve, I'm sure you'll have one offered on here pretty. It is easy to replace too.
Yes, you will need to state if you have an airbag steering wheel or not to see you get the right one. Airbag and pretensioner seat belts go together.
Maybe, ask whoever sends you one out to check the illumination still works.

it needs to hold the buckle
scrap 440 / 480 probably out there, were they BRITAX?, if so then lots of possible sources
