Wanted: clear side markers/indicators (was: Very Long Shot.)

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

Has anybody got a pair of the clear rear markers and clear side repeaters/blinkers that chap was making that they don't want anymore??

I feel this post should be more in jest than in seriousness...i fee a result will be about as rare as rocking horse poo!

Fingers crossed anyway!

Ehm, why not buy them new? Or has Björn stopped making them?

My Dad had both blinkers and markers, i had blinkers (on my 440), but we got them Oct/Nov '04. I started trying to get back in-touch with him around September this year via email and through his website, but i cannot for the love of god get *any* response... Perhaps he has just had enough-if i had known then i would have taken them off the 440.

I really wanted a pair of both to match the white paint and the clear fronts. Thats why i thought i'd ask here and see if there was anybody who didn't want theirs or just never fitted them...Do you have any means of contacting him Daniel?

Absolutely gutted!

Sorry Dan, also I am limited to contacting him through e-mail. I know he has gotten very busy with other things. Can only suggest contacting him again until you give up  :dunno:

Guys,

I'm currently working on a mold for creating both white side blinkers, white side markers (at the back) and the white front blinkers (altough they are available as Volvo parts).

I will be opening a new thread with the question how many people are interested.

You'll be hearing soon.

Guys,

Glad to see some interest here. Just keep an eye on this part of the forum and you'll see when the time is there.

I allready have the plastic light covers for creating the negative, but the ones at the front need some recovery while the didn't completely survived the proccess of taking them apart :?

Now I'll have to wait for the plastic expert of the company where I work to come by and advice me on wich material to use and, more important, what the costs will be.

Gladly I can tell that it won't be a really expensive job, only making the mold takes a lot of time and will need some small investments. I will produce it myself (with the help of a colleage), but the molding materials are expensive and you need a vew kilo's, so that's where the costs will be.

By the way, can't wait myself too :hopping:

There is a website for this kind of thing.
It's called Ebay.
Perhaps you should try it.
