Red H Reg 480 ES in Somerset - quick sale!

Hi

I've got a very nice red 480 ES for sale - I bought this as a temporary car while my vintage Sunbeam Rapier is being restored. The Rapier is nearly ready and now I need space on the drive!

It's a 480 ES S/R 3 Door Hatchback - registered in August 1990.

The 480 is in great shape, just a little surface rust on the N/S door - only a very small area. All electrics are good, has Volvo radio/cassette, but the tape doesn't work.

Electric windows/Sunroof
On-board computer (Oil temp/MPG/Range/Ave Speed/Engine temp/Outside temp)
Heated seats
Very clean interior
MOT to September 2004 (mechanic said it was like a new car underneath)
Tax to end of Feb 2004

The idle valve might need cleaning (or so people have informed me) as it idles a bit erratically and misses sometimes on low revs (under 2k) - that said, it goes like a rocket and is in daily use. Recent new battery.

144k on the clock. A good clean example.

apparently already called you, didn't realise you were just down the road from me!
There is a sunbeam rapier outside Gerry Byrnes autos, out the back of Buncombes (or what used to be) garage. Dunno if he'd be willing to part with it if you needed any spares. Thought you might like to know

It's a small world!

The Rapier in GB Autos is mine! It'll be on the road in the next fortnight - hence I need the space on the drive.

Your mate will be looking at the 480 later today - thanks for passing it on.
