480 Sadly for SALE....Located in SCOTLAND
Due to my wife being given a company car, I have to sell MY 480...
Hers, being a Celebration, is never to be sold....
Its a 94 (L) 480ES in Polar White, 80k miles, and in good condition for it's age.
It is fitted with the 6-spoke wheels from a Celebration, has a Black half-leather interior and a Blaupunkt CD player.
I have just put 6 mths Tax on the car-mot just about to expire, but I will mot for purchaser.
Usual slight rust on driver's door but easy repair. Sound car, sorry to see it go..
Good tyres,
Car DRY INSIDE!
Slight crack to front spoiler.
Pics available by e-mail.
Genuine OFFERS please

CELECRATION NOT!
Hi Daniel,
Must be Monday morning you have misread Rogues' post. His wife has a Celebration and it is not for sale! Rogue's is a 480 ES!
The only reason for responding is because my Celebration has it's plate removed I have confirmed it is one but know of no way of finding it's number. Any help would be appreciated.
Regards
Chris
PS Rogue, how much?

C6REW,
should be fairly simple.
Assuming that the british celebration series started with e.g. chassis no. ESC 590420 and you have chassis no. ESC 590689 and you know that someone with chassis no ESC 590536 has plate # 116 on his dashboard it will be safe to assume that you own # 269.
But than again Volvo has never been famous for its logic

Sorry C6REW,
reading back now I see I misunderstood...
Levensnevel, I doubt the Celebrations were made in one sequential line... I think at the time of the production of the 480 they still made them in a batch where they were sorted on color for the painting... (but then of course, you already put a smiley up there...)

Just for the information..
My wife's car is NO.327/480..coyote1980 wrote:Hi Rogue,
sorry to hear that you have to sell such a beautiful car!
What number is it? According to the aluminium plaque on the dashboard?
I'd be looking for @ £1000...
C'mon Guys & Gals...
Seriously, someone must be needing to take this car off my hands..
It's far too good to put on the £1 channel...(E-Bay!)
