Found this on eBay. Late phase 1 1991 red turbo with auto box. [Located in Wiltshire]
  • Looks like its been kept in a very damp environment for a long time judging by the grotty undercarriage and the mouldy service book.
  • Taillight lenses look to have been sealed up at some point
  • Engine mounts on their way out judging by the video the seller posted
  • Info centre not displaying anything & other electrical problems such as CEM(?) and battery drain
  • Singular picture of one rear arch shows that needs a reasonable amount of welding.
Last on the road in 2019, had an MOT in 2021 where it failed on corrosion + smaller misc things.

What's the betting that the engine will end up in a Renault 5 after the auction ends? :dunno:

From the eBay pics it looks like they might have kept the service book in the boot, or passenger footwell..

Underneath has all the usual grot, but didn't look as bad as some I've seen that are still chugging around..

Someone will bite..

Actually looks more like a dodgy plug lead - Look how low idle speed drops.
The "unboxed" CEM flapping in the footwell is concerning, but what's slightly more worrying is that the rear beam/Spring support has been obviously welded - MOT fail there. The rest of the underside doesn't look that horrific.

Was actually referring to the dash shake but yes I noticed in the video it doesn’t seem to be idling right either and looks like it’s close to stalling.
