Not looked at MOT history but worth a delve perhaps.

Don't know what's going along the top of rear o/s window though...looks like a bit of body has been snapped off?

Reasonably priced too;
Would like better pics. Short MOT goes against it, but potentially a good haggling point.
Front fogs look to be the early type?

Re: Affordable Celeb - Suffolk 89/480
This should be a sound investment. I have spoken to the previous owner who sold it in March.
He bought it as a donor car for his immaculate celeb. but then found it far too good to break. The rear wheel arches were sound with just a small bit of rust bubbling at the top of one arch. Electrics all good and good running too. Just let down by paintwork and peeling lacquer. He used it as a daily runner and kept the other one for best but he had far too many cars so let it go in the end.
If it was a rare colour with mechanical problems rather than paint I'd be eying it up as R4 but apparently it's not in need of Jeff's attention.
For interest I have details of 88 red celebs on the register, 32 white and just 22 smoke grey. Many are known or suspected to have been broken so it was quite upsetting to see 2 other grey ones go for breaking around the time we bought Pud. Jeff fell in love with the colour when the sun caught it and he saw the purpley-blue undertones.
