What do you think of this, looks a little too clean for me, but maybe I'm just a cynic

Mot history looks good, dashboard cracked (they all do that sir), but apart from that.... Looks ok!

Re: Seemingly nice red '88 car on Facebook
When you consider the dodgy turbo that sold at Bonhams, this looks a bargain.
Re: Seemingly nice red '88 car on Facebook
My thoughts precisely.... now it may just be very flattering photos, but as I said, the MOT history seems to suggest a well cared for car.
Definately worth a look - Any one near Blackpool?
Re: Seemingly nice red '88 car on Facebook
Looks pretty good...
Missing stone chip foils suggests rear arches have been replaced. Wondering whether it's had a re-spray at some point given how deep the red still looks (but that may just be cleaning/the photos/how it's been stored, of course).
Interior looks good - nothing unexpectedly untoward that's visible.
Yes, definitely worth looking at!
A possible plan is under assembly on that front...

Another 480 is always welcome, especially an early ES, don't see many of those at all

Sadly (?) whenever I chat with Jeff about cars he always has a bad influence on me... I start getting ideas - and then Lee tells me off! After all, as my wife she's always telling me I shouldn't have ideas; if I adopt "yes, dear" as the motto for life I won't go far wrong

One can never have too many cars, just not enough places to put them...dcwalker wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 10:08 am

Re: Seemingly nice red '88 car on Facebook
Straight to the heart of the matter there - I can accommodate 3 here, which I currently have (480, 440 & C70). It's each time car number 4 comes along that I get hassled...

Give me Lee's number! I need to be speaking to the organ grinder, not the monkey!
