480 Turbo Auto for sale
Hello everyone,
Is anyone interested in purchasing my father's 480 Turbo automatic?
[/url]
These are a couple of photos I took of her when I took her for a spin in Eastbourne a few weeks ago, but I will put more information and I will clean her up and get some more, good photos if I get any interest
Cheers!

Re: 480 Turbo Auto
A price and some detail will help sell it...
mileage
mot
description of car interior exterior
photo of engine bay
dash and interior would also be helpful.
any known faults
service history
when was last cam belt change
etc...
That will generate some interest beyond "thats a nice car in the photos"

Re: 480 Turbo Auto for sale
I know, it was my intention to add more information of course, I have just been rather busy with work for awhile, including the entire bank holiday weekend, this is the first chance I've had to sit down properly.
I MOT'd the car on Wednesday (27/04), and it sailed through with no advisories. It has had 4 owners, but it was a one owner car for most of it's life, 25 years in fact! The original bill of sale is included (a 480 ES was part exchanged for this when new!), it was religiously serviced by Kingscroft Volvo (now Charlwood I believe) every year, with many receipts included, all the way up to 2015. The car car did have both rear arches repaired by Volvo at some point in its life, however they are starting to bubble again and do need re-doing. It has Volvo mudflaps (with receipts for replacements from Volvo included throughout it's time), rubber floor mats, lockable rear seat storage area, it even has an original Volvo fire extinguisher! The cam belt I am unsure of, I'll have to double check the paperwork tomorrow to see if it has been done at some point. The car drives very well, although the throttle cable needs replacing. Other than that she drives fine.
The exterior of the car is in good condition, save for a couple of small scuffs on the front bumper, a small dent in the left wing, and a little bit of damage to the front spoiler. The rear lights are decent, and I did use some Megular's lens restorer not too long ago on them. The front indicator/DRL lenses were swapped very recently too, as the ones on the car were cracked. The interior of the car is in very good condition, no rips or tears or anything like that in the seats, even the bulbs in both seat belt buckles still work! The car has a couple of cassette tapes (in the proper centre console cassette holder) and a pair of glasses from the original owner, an old boy, who owned the car for most of its life, looking after her very well until he sadly passed away. The only downside to the interior is a small piece of the dash missing in the top far left corner, and I think the driver's seatbelt arm is broken, but I'm sure the passenger's is okay, I will double check tomorrow though, when I get more photos. The only real fault is that the flasher doesn't work when you pull the stalk, with the lights off, but when the lights are on the stalk switches between low and main beam just fine. I may be able to fix this though if someone could point me in the right direction.
My father bought her only in September 2015, as a project, but he's just ran out of space, and he has a few projects he's working on now, so it's better that she goes to another loving home. Asking price is around £2000.
That is everything I can think of for now, I will post some more photos of her tomorrow. Anything else, or anything I've forgotten, don't hesitate to ask
Thanks
