It's very very tempting, but it's a no go for me i'm afraid-i'm enjoying not running a car!
Basically, the lad who bought my 480 has gotten himself into a situation-basically, he has collected too many points in the last few months (non-480 related i might add!), and has no option but to sell the car.
Those of you who know the car will know about it, for those that don't, check the Secret life of a 480 Owner section.
Since i sold it, the rusty patch below the rear light cluster has gotten bigger, and either the driver or passenger side blinker (clear one by Wiljen) has been snapped off by a hooligan.
It's got a new ignition barrell, it's had a new alternator, and is getting a new front wheel bearing in the next few days (don't know which side it is). It's also had a dump valve fitted-it sounds like it has a cold to be honest, but if thats you cuppa tea...
I don't think the front tyres have been replaced since he bought it, and they were getting low when i sold it. The tax is about 2-3 months, and the MOT is up in April. The only advisory it had last MOT was the front brake pipe needing replacement. Mileage is funny-body had done about 111k when i sold it, but take off 18k from that as it had a new engine from Volvo under warranty-so it had done about 93k when i sold it.
If anybody is interested, i have his number so drop me a PM. He's looking to reclaim what he paid, but know's it's a bit un-realistic, so it's up for £1395.
And the car is based in Lowestoft, NR33 9NX.
