20 Years Volvo 480 meeting - GREEN LIGHT!

Post by coyote1980 » Sun Apr 09, 2006 7:33 pm

Hi everyone,

the last few weeks have been extremely busy, trying to work out as many details as possible for this meeting. It is the first time that an attempt was made to arrange a 480 meeting using people from various 480 clubs. The result? Well, not as smooth organisement as you would hope due to various factors, but the 20 years Volvo 480 meeting in the Eifel region is definitely a go!

Everyone is welcome Friday-evening, the organisation will be present then too. The Saturday and Sunday will be the main-days of the meeting. During the Sunday you will be able to say goodbye to each other and head home, unless you have decided to stay a bit longer

All the info you need is available on this page: 20 years meeting page

Even though the date of the meeting is rapidly closing (and quite close as I type this), we hope you will all join us to have a great time together.

One point of attention: the dinner on Saturday remains unclear, because we're making the final arrangements the last few weeks and we have no idea how many members will show up it is quite tricky to arrange a buffet/bbq. We will see how we can fill this in as we progress!

1730 km? that's only 173 times 10 km, which is 173 times nothing, which means 'no further than just around the corner' ;)

Maybe you can persuade some other Lithuanians to join you? You could contact Lithuanians on the memberlist and ask them 8)

PS: I have added a list of people that have signed up for the event, will really be an international gathering again :D

Just had a look at the names of everyone who's signed up, and OK, Europe was a very different place when the 480 first came out and Southern Europe is a bit of a trek, but where's the French/Scandiwegen contingent? :o

Hi everyone!

Important update!

We are trying to arrange a large BBQ at the Waldhotel on Saturday, but we need to know how many people want to make use of the BBQ. I have therefor altered the form on the meeting-page:

http://www.volvo-480-europe.org/clubdat ... 0512-D.php

In case you will join the meeting, please log in on the clubs website, visit the meetingsite, and choose wether you want to join the BBQ or not. Thanx!

The price for the BBQ will be € 15,00

Cheers!

Jeez...

I really wanted to go but this gets on the way of many things :(

First, my birthday is on the 14th of May, so that gets kinda complicated.

Secondly my car isn't ready for a:

2257km including 2138km on motorways

journey like that.

Hope I can go to the next one though... hope everyone enjoys it, and yes, take a lot of pictures :)

Cheers

I have to close the option for joining the BBQ in a few hours (after I've had dinner), since tonight we have to inform the hotel for how many people they must prepare the BBQ.

In case you read this and want to come and join the BBQ please apply for the meeting quickly (as in: bewfore 20:00 CET )
