i'm not sure what was more disturbing, his monkey impression or the fact that he's wearing dark trousers and shoes with white socks
John like doing his monkey impressions, just look at him at the Wales meeting

Back home safe and sound.... ;-)

Had a brilliant time meeting everyone and putting faces to names.

A big thank-you to Wayne and Nikki for their brilliant organisation.

Cheers to Lee for the spoiler, just need to find time to fit it now...

Will post my pics tomorrow hopefully, but right now I need to get some sleep.

Just home- having driven a very sulky Ruby home from East Lothian.............don't think she was very happy about being left at home!...especially after a tired sallysal managed to park her with 2 wheels on the kerb next to a Corsa in the peeing rain.

Huge thanks to the Lazerowls for a great meet. :D :D superb! - sorry to hear about the car probs on the way home.
Thanks to Lee for bringing my new spoiler and to Ally for doing most of the driving!

Twas lovely to see 'the hardcore' again....and meet some of their infamous cars at last! :D gawd that's 4 meets in eight months for me!! Always good to meet more new faces, and meet more of the folks from the continent. :D You always get home feeling there wasn't enough time to speak to everyone.

Twas nice to drive a different 480 for a change too ;) , until you've driven a few you don't realise just how different each one is to drive! he ran like a dream and behaved himself very well!
All in all a great weekend!
.............so tired I can hardly type
night all!............................zzzzzzzzzzz

Great meet - got to meet lots of new people which is always good - really was overwhelming on the first day, as I'm sure Wayne will agree with!

Sorry I wasn't as perky this meet as I have been in previous ones, some stuff was going on putting a dampener on the weekend for me personally, but hopefully will get that sorted.

Thanks to everyone for coming - I have the signed board with everyone's
signatures on, which will go into my games room as a momento. Perhaps we ought to do one of those for every future meet and have the signed board in the raffle?

Thanks to Wayne and Nikki for their expert organisation skills - especially the very detailed running commentary of the trip to Skeg, so everyone knew exactly where to go and what to look out for (and yes I laughed when I saw "the eye"!!!!) Wink

Great meet! Roll on next monday for the mini-meet at Alton Towers (part 2) Very Happy

PS: BIG THANKS to ALL the EUROPEANS who came across - you are great people and have made me confident for my forthcoming adventure to the next meet on the continent (whenever that may be)
Cheers!

A huge THANK U to the Owls for organising a great meet... I'll be back for sure!!

Nice to see al the faces belonging to the names I already knew.

At Dartfort I lost the cluch...Luckily Vince could tow me home (...yes...abt 250 mls!!!)
Was it the Vader...?? 'cause this shouldn't happen with just 40k on the clock.

And today the Turbo let me down aswell :cryhard: I probbably took the curse home :(

Anyway...It can be fixed

@Erwin - OMG a 250 mile tow home :( We were 15 miles from home when I followed Wayne and he lost power. I shouldn't have said anything about breaking down. Hope you get the cars sorted soon.
