Well, we'll be coming along with our ratty 480S, and staying at my Mum's which is only just down the road - who needs tents and B&Bs! Not sure what we're doing about Sunday yet, as I have access Sunday mornings to my daughters.

If anyone is interested, there is a vintage vehicle museum in Lincoln, could be worth a visit Sunday if the weather is too bad for the coast? (not open saturdays)

Ah mate, since you're coming to the meet do you mind bringing the rear window with you? (Especially since Steve has back out! :( )

As long as I can get the thing off the car, I'll bring it quite happily mate. I'm off work the week before the meet, so that should give me time to sort it, and strip most of the rest of the bits I think would be worth keeping.

Hey cause we care Groomus, Gr8 news that you can come along now.

Lets hope the petrol thing doesn't disrupt us too much. This meet has been plagued with problems, folks cars breaking down, the price of fuel, maybe the lack of fuel.

We'll still be there though......

Bring on that Party!!!!

I am sadly unable to make this one. I am finishing weekend work so when I handed my notice in I thought I had put my last day as the weekend before the meet. Unfortunately I actually putthe weekend of the meet so am obliged to work it(and if I dont I wont get all the holiday pay i'm owed!). I am also quite skint aswell so petrol would be another problem and also my cambelt needs doing, and until that is done I dont want to make too many long journeys.
Sorry guys, really annoyed with muself. I wanted to go real bad.

Hey up,

Is there still room for another small quiet one on this meet...? Me I mean! I thought we'd be away for the weekend for my birthday ( ). Me, Michele and the 480 (if she's playing) can camp it up if the place isn't full! Would hate to miss out on such a h00g meet...

Cheers :D

don't worry Wayne! :D I think it just seems that way because this meet is going to be so much bigger than the other brit meets, more folk= more potential probs....the fuel crisis..............well we just conserve it by driving sensibly and safely at 56.7mph ;)
@ Lee that's a bummer, but at least you and Chelle will be there - that's the main thing!
and yes I'll def be there too........................I've got a spoiler to collect :D ;)

Sorry mate, Rob Kendal already used this exact excuse. You need to think of another.

Will be good to see you again though Martin!
