Scotts Meeting Convoy

Post by Big Brother » Sun Jan 02, 2005 9:40 pm

Right as there are a few of us going from south of the boarder I thought we could all meet up and go in convoy picking up as we go. This will need some organisation, so I we need to sort out here what we are going to do. My self and Steve could meet up with Gaz at his house or on the M1 somewhere. Please lets discuss it now.

Also are we going to go up on the Friday (4th) and having a full 2 days up there and coming back on the Monday? What is happening? Murf is sorting out details for local B&Bs

If anyone wants to discuss anything with me i'm on MSN bigbrother151@hotmail.com

Cheers

I'm happy to allow convening at my place, if that's helpful, else somewhere on the M1 (or A1) or whatever :)

I think defining a good route would be a good start :) What's the address and postcode of where we're going?

That would be my plan, leave friday then have the whole W/end and travel back on monday.

Seems the sensible way to do it. Pref leave early ish on friday to avoid the rush.

Hm... That's a little better, still the best part of 400 miles though.

I may be stopping off in Shefield to collect JT, so could meet up with everyone on the M1 (if that's a sensible way to be going?).

It will be usefull to have someone navigating as well :)

Yeah, murf's right, it's a really easy trip directions wise.
When you come off the M74 you are practically at the Park! And it's a very straight journey before that.
Think i'll do some scouting to find suitable spots for us to go to etc.
Maybe not today as the weather is shit.
