Ok sounds good to me, hope to have a working 480 to drive there, but will go anyway. Might have to fly if the car is unwell, as I'm not driving all the way in a van.

Any tips on local B+B / hotels would be good to have, because it's a bit cold to do camping / sleep in the car.

So is it going to be the 5th and 6th because I'll have the book time off. I'm also booking the Friday and Monday off I guess we can do the travelling on the Mondays and Friday and have two full days up there, what does everyone think?

Oh and what about B&Bs Mruf are there any good ones nearby because we'll have to book them too.

It's a quiet time of the year, so it's worth trying to do a group booking if possible. It should save some money that way, as the hotel would likely be almost empty otherwise. It's worth a try at least.

Don't know what chain of hotels it is, but Anglian Water group has disscout deals with some, I may be able to do something there too. I'm thinking that the fact that everyone drives a 480 might give that one away though.

might still be expensive though as its 5 star!
anyone thats skint can stay in my living room or VDG has a big empty flat, if you helped him tidy it i'm sure he would let some peeps stay there!!
