Everyone who has registered for the event in May should have received a detailed update email on Tuesday evening, 12th March. This email includes a link to the first draft of very informative Driver Book that Jan has produced.

Jan and Thijs conducted a series of site visits last weekend to ensure that everything is as it should be. The visit to the DAF Museum has had to be dropped due to time constraints, plus many of the Dutch and German 480 owners have already visited. I haven't been in 20 years, so I will visit the museum on the Friday afternoon before driving to Bruggen for the event kick off that evening.

It's all lining up to be a great weekend!

Each car that participates will receive a bag with 480 wristbands for all participants and name badge. (for free).

We have not yet planned any merchandising for sale.
Would you like to buy a T-shirt or hoodie with the logo?

Jan, Thijs and I are monitoring the sign up closely. We have been very pleasantly surprised by the levels of interest. As with most events though there's not an infinite number of attendees possible. Car parking alone is already a big challenge.

We have a planning meeting soon and will then issue an update.

Hi Richard - the venue that we have for the Saturday is the International School of Eindhoven. Jan and Thijs have done a great job in finding it, after a lot of searching. The school's car park holds 120 cars, so we will be fine.

There's been a huge amount of effort put into the organisation of the event. We had another 2 hour planning call this evening, with 2 more calls planned before the event.

I think it's going to be a great weekend.

Just a quick update - we sent out a detailed event update via email on 12 March. We have been advised by a few people that it went to their spam/junk mail folders.

Do please double check yours if you haven't seen the email yet and you have already registered for the event in May as the email contains some important information for all attendees.

We will do another email update in April. We are really looking forward to meeting so many 480 fanatics from around Europe in May!

Great to see the two Swedish additions!

There will be an email update for everyone attending very soon. Jan and Thijs are doing a pre view trip to the Dutch/German border area very soon to help finalise everything .

It´s gonna be great to meet so many 480!!! Last time I was on such big meeting was in 1997 (I think) in Rosmalen. It was 60 cars that time!

Hi all - everyone registered for the event should have received an update email yesterday evening. Do please check your spam filters/junk mail folders as some of the previous emails sent on 12 March were filtered out.

We do need some additional information from everyone attending, so do please check the email and reply before the end of this month.

The big news is that 3 of the original mid 1980s 480 design team will be joining us in Eindhoven at the International School on the afternoon of Saturday 18 May, health permitting.

Hi I just signed up. I wanted to know if there is anyone at the meeting who takes the same route as me, so we can all travel to the destination together. I leave Italy on Friday 17th at 5.30am and pass through Switzerland from Lugano, I should be near Stuttgart by 12.30pm. Arrival at the meeting between 6.30pm and 7pm.
