Tomorrow afternoon, I am going to travel from Cambridge to Newark and back. This is to take a look at a Volvo ECU tester which should test the impossible to diagnose early cars.
On the off chance, are there any other 480 owners on the way who fancy a quick catch up?

I'm going to PM you my phone number.
If I don't spend too long there, I should have time to head half-hour further north.
My idea is to be at Lincoln for about 1430-1530 and hopefully not stay more than an hour.

I did indeed manage to pop in to see David for a coffee.
Volvo System Tester purchased so ECU diagnosis can be done on (I think) all 480 ECUs and later cars with diagnostic port on the front L/H suspension turret.
It certainly read live data from my ancient B18E with Fenix 1. It does run diagnostic tests of the system also but it took so long and I had the engine running inside a garage so I gave up.
More details and pictures to follow later.
