Volvo 480 Club Europe

Behind the scenes the Volvo 480 Club Europe board is working on organising another great meeting-weekend! This years meeting will be held in a location familiar to some of you: Kautenbach, Luxembourg!

So grab your agendas and book the weekend of June 17-19


The programm will basically be the same as previous years:

• Friday: arrival later in the afternoon / evening, no things are ever planned but it's always cozy!

• Saturday: main meeting day, with a rally with puzzles and prizes, concluded by a nice barbecue.

• Sunday: time to shake hand and say goodbye.

Accomodation options

• Camping Nic Brandeburger - a family campingsite where you can either camp on the family-area or on a scouting field.

• Hotel Hatz - at walking distance of the campingsite.

Well, actually 1985 is the year the 480 was launched...

MY 1995 = 09-1994 / 08-1995
MY 1994 = 09-1993 / 08-1994
..
MY 1986 = 09-1985 / 08-1985

It did take some time before production was well underway so there are almost no 480 registered in 1985.

Sorry the Owls cannot make it yet again this year.
Real shame because I have great memories of my first Euro meet here.
Maybe next year.

Afraid I cant really make this-the weekend before I'll be at Le Mans for the 24hours and the week after Im at a conference..

We have just opened the registration for the 2011 meeting!

Just need to fix my power steering before the weekend and a new belt since my pump has blocked On the other hand: rather today than when I'm driving down there!

We missed our 4pm ferry and only got home at 1am! Still, it was great to see everyone again.

Many thanks to the organisers, it can't be an easy task to organise a meeting -- we're looking forward to the next one...
