Official Midlands Mini Meet

We've been discussing this in another thread but I'm starting this
as an official, it's happening, yes really it is, a meet, in the west mids, thread.

The meet will be inside the 'South Midlands Monthly Classic Transport Meet'

Held at :

Resolution/Britannic Assurance PLc
1 Wythall Green Way
off Middle Lane
Wythall
Birmingham
B47 6WG

On : Sunday 10th February 11am till 3pm

Entrance is free! yayy... There is a burger van on site (usually) so
you will be able to purchase a tea flavoured drink and a burger of
some description....

When you enter the gates you will be directed to either the classics
park or the moderns. (depending on what you are driving!!)

To get us all parked together it's probably easiest if we all park in the
classic car park as opposed to along the side road that they also
queue classics up on.

Once through the gates head right at the roundabout and then turn
right into the main car park. Head to the end of the car park
and park with the other 480's (I'll try to get there right at the begining
and blag a nice section of car park for us to congregate in)
The organsiers are happy for us to all park up together

The guys on the gate 'should' be expecting us and are usually really
helpful happy chappies so I'm sure they will guide you if you are a bit
lost when you arrive.

I'll endevour to help.

he he, just kidding i will be driving...dont shun me tho...i will be the XR3i siddling up to the 480s, trying to make friends with them, so tell them to be nice, its only for one day

I am still coming despite the fact that the GT is MOTless and TAXless, and the fact that the damn XR3i's fuel pump has packed in....

I wont be in the "classic cars" section...or the "modern cars" section...i will be in the "mad people who walked cos they dont have cars" section

My great mate of the air cooled persuasion has said he will bring
his camper van and a little gas burner thing and be the 'support

and the car seems to be running good
all lights seem to be working and the info centre
