Haha, Yorkshire feels just the same as home. Went to Leeds uni for a bit and that was the same. I never want to live anywhere where i can't get to the top of a hill within 20 mins.
Probably sounds pretty insane, but living in London would slowly kill me inside i think.
Its nice sometimes just to get somewhere with a great view and relax, and know that nobody is within a 250m radius of you.
Not saying where i live is perfect tho, i have a secret plot to burn Padiham to the ground......doh!

I'll always remember when the BNP got their first two seats, the Burnley Express quoted them as saying "Our priority locally is to get the pakis out" whilst touring in a converted frozen meat van.

Now that is what i would refer to as "****ing appaling".

My friend Helen makes it her mission to campaign against them, whilst at one of their town center rallies my best mate distracted the audience by doing football tricks.

Grandma and grandad generally do, such was the attitude when they were younger, before getting "set in their ways", otherwise known as ignoring logic.

Still, think most of the shady voting comes from the same group that thinks "hey lets trash our own town centre" after a game of football with Blackburn rovers.

Burnley can't be trusted for anything planning related. There was an old church+grounds given to the counsel on the condition that it should be used as a "place for quiet relaxation". Now its a multistorey?!

Thankfully, despite my address, i live in the Ribble valley, not burnley by a few meters, so am not influenced as baddly by their stupidity. (and higher counsel tax)
