In a good car(parts)store you can buy a cable that goes from the Volvo conn. to the ISO conn.. I bought it for 22 euro i think. No need to cut the wires, so worth the money.
Red Volvo 480 GT 2.0i 1995Gold Volvo 360 GL 2.0i 1987

I tried to find that part Ed is referring to. I couldn't find it, although I had been at dealers, around Rotterdam, a 'restoration' workshop for recent Volvo's and a store which (I've been told) had the largest electricity related carparts around Rotterdam.

What about the 'no turbo shit, just real power' signature of 211? I'd like to use it too, and make my own version of it... <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">

regards,

Arjan Scheer

Hi Ed,

is that for the 4X4 big white Volvo radio connector in the older 480ies? My 1995 has, probably just as your 480, a different (namely ISO) connector than my 1987 one...

BTW: I bought ISO connectors for the old 1987 480 and put a little pin from a carpartsshop to each individual wire and connected that with the big white Volvo connector. This way I had ISO without cutting the original wires <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)">
Yours sincerely,

Daniël Wilten
<IMG SRC="http://www.volvo480.nu/images/clubbansm ...

I went to a partstore and they had both cables on stock. The one from the 1987 and the newer version. They have a booklet where everything is in. Will ask for copies and send them to you.

Red Volvo 480 GT 2.0i 1995Gold Volvo 360 GL 2.0i 1987
