headlight upgrade

Its funny, my car isnt even on the road yet i have ot do stuff ot make it work better....anyway im looking to get some nicer looking headlights, like thoe xenon effect ones or something. those usually look really nice and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what to get. I took apart the headlight today to change the connectors to the bulb but forgot to check hte bulbs.
I heard of someones indicator stalks burning when upgrading to 80w or something so

. I think i will stick to 55/60 if i can... Any suggestions?

I got some posh halfords ones, supposed to be 50% brighter. Does make a nice crisp light... Anyway, it was buy one get one free.
