Has anyone tried fitting rally lights?

Title says it all really, might look good in the empty area on the front, but I don't know because I can't find any pictures online! I guess it's harder to do because you'd have to drill into the bumper, although the previous owner of mine has already given the bumper a bit of damage.

Probably a good reason for that!

The question would be "why?"

You've already sufficient additional lighting from the inner driving lamps. Additional lighting low down is not really going to provide additional illumination (because driving lamps have a pencil beam type pattern).

You'd also obstruct airflow to the radiator (remember that's its ONLY source of incoming air)

Why? Because nobody else has :D

Mostly aesthetic for a classic car rallye, plus I meant above the bumper not below.

Well, you could make a mounting bracket that clipped over the rear of the bumper and bolted in using the plinth screws; that’d save drilling the bumper.

Still think it’s going to look “wrong”; it’d work on a 440/460 as they’re a little more flat fronted.

These links are not showing up (thankfully)

All I will say given my experience fitting Rally Lights to the Audi is make sure your alternator can handle it. Mine can, but the belt has to be in a very specific position to stop it from screeching
