The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Got myself a new engine so decided to spruce it up a bit. I removed the cam cover and sprayed it
with heat resistant paint but instead of being red like the tin it turned out like this.....
Crazy
So I gave it a blast and had it done with a stove aluminum paint
This was cured at 190 degrees C for two hours.
Having doe this I do still have a liking for the first attempt !

2nd picture looks nicer I think

I finished the cover on my prev 480 with the left over caliper laquer from painting the calipers, gave a really nice smooth glossy finish and no probs with engine temp!
