Well after a lot of "hard" work it is on!

And Closer...

Its kinda nice as well, cos the guy (or gal!) that had this before had obviously wanted to be different, but also wanted to be sociable. It doesnt have that horrible raspy sound most chav-mobiles have! I really love it!

Tho on the first test drive i pulled out of my drive...and right in front of a police van-doh! I wanted to give it a good run lol!

For those that don't know, it is the stainless steel powerflow exhaust i got hold of on Saturday (Lula's birthday incidentally!)

I had this kind of thing for some time, before I added the last muffler

Mine was twin resonated streight trough 2,5" and over the back axel and out from the side. Worked for a week, after that got bored with the noise. So added a muffler to the end. Hmm, that reminds me, I need to take some pics of my car.

Ideally it wouldve been a twin exit, but beggars cant be choosers, and i do love this! Its not too droney either at high speeds! Still grinning!!

Well when it did finally dry up my battery died. By the time it had charged it was too dark! But i am off to Alton Towers tomo (first time!!

) so will try and get a video of it then!

Mine came with mudflaps already on it-dont know if its a GT thing...but i was looking for a pair for my ES i had before and i was looking at eBay. They dont come as standard with the silver VOLVO, i did that myself!

@ John-yeh i am hoping it wont melt, but there was crud build up on the tailpipe when i picked it up...and low and behold it was in exactly that area, so sadly i think it may do-doh!

Incidentally there wont be a vid until i have stopped the centre section blowing! Something large and heavy knocked the bracket under the car on the A38 going to Alton Towers and its been blowing heavily ever since. Gonna have a play this weekend and hopefully will get you a vid then. Also been backfiring bless it, if i go into second and bring the clutch up slowely with no gas "pop" "pop" "pop"

Aw thanks smooth! Yeh well its on its way to being sorte.d tho my problem is, i get one thing fixed and move onto something else...either something that needs to be done (like the MOT) or something i want done (lowering springs!!) and somehow it seems endless. But as i tell everyone else, i could have a worse and (slightly?) more expensive habit...like designer clothes shopping or class A drugs

Will PM bout heat shields...

Ummm a skyline without a nice chunky pipe out the arse just isnt right!!!! That roar with the turbo flutter is enough to touch anyone in sensitive areas!
