After looking at Dan`s photos of his footwell lights I thought thats got
to be done.
So I got a spare boot and glove box light and set to it.
First I removed the two blanking plates and cut two holes...
Then I added the lights ,a snug fit is required...
The next step was to fit them.Dan used his ignition light but I have an
airbag on the steering wheel which would have to be removed to gain
access to the cover. I didn`t like this idea.
So following a post from Roo I gained access to the main cabin light.
I ran a canle from the light across the roof ,down the door seal into
the footwell area.
I love the way they fade out with the main light.

I'm actually really impressed with how neat those holes are in the plastic kev...how did you get them so perfect??
It's def. a cool mod. I had mine wired permanent not long after i got the car, but it was too much so i disconnected them. But after i saw Roo's at the meet-how they came on with the door lock and faded out when the ignition was turned, i was like, 'yep, gotta have them sorted'...
Look good. Looking forward to seeing this exhaust too!
