Frowned upon? ...

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

I have 4 480's now...

2 ES parts cars
1 TT that the wifey drives
1 Turbo being repaired

The parts cars and the turbo are all on the front drive and I got knocks
at the door... at least one a week... asking if i "want to scrap the red car mate?"

Cheeky feckers NEVER asked if i wanted to scrap either ES.. Despite them
being half constructed (as per thero parts car status)

So I have removed every badge from the red Turbo 480.. (volvo, 480 turbo, catalyser and even the lamda badges on the b pillars)

No-one knocks on the door trying to buy it anymore....

Go figure.... :hopping:

According the the listing of "Classics Monthly", the 480 Turbo is worth 3500/1200/400 in Excellent/pretty good/poor condition.

It makes no mention of any other model.

So my good sir, the red car is a classic...the others are just metal.
Past:
94 Turbo - Red
94 Turbo - Black (Converted from NA 2.0)
92 Turbo - Red
90 Turbo - Silver
Now:
00 Exige
15 GKD Legend
16 Skoda Superb

I love being raced! I overtook a Vauxhall vxr thingy yesterday and he got so annoyed he put his foot down to keep with me! ..... I lost him after a start from lights and a large fast roundabout :)
