Wheels

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

No, in this case he cant help.
He is an engineer (research) and has nothing to do with sales.
I think the only chance for an air ventilation snow cover
is eBay or something like that.

Sometimes there are accident480 with this air ventilation snow cover
on it, so You have to look for it.

Fantomaz ;)

@MatBat, the only chance to get the snowcover is this Forum,or the scrapyard.

Maybe a Volvo dealer still has the snow cover ! Ask arround.

Volvo Cars does not have them anymore in their parts centers in Maastricht or Gothenburg.

Regards.

Are you sure the "canis"-wheels (see wheels-section on the club page) were produced for the 480? I have never seen a 480 catalogue showing them, and they aren`t even shown on the 4xx-series accessories catalogue.[/img]

Yep, 100% positive :D

Daniel480 has scanned images and mailed them to me which proved they existed, they had tyresizes mentioned for the 480! ;)

Hey, I bought them!

I found them in an old catalogue for the whole Volvo family in the section
especialy for the 4xx series.
You cant see them often on a 480 because at the time they were sold
regulary they were extrem expensive.
15" with 195/50 and looking/driving great!
Mostly you see them on the 460.

I'm quite satisfied with mine 17". The 480 deserves more than 14 or 15 inches..

Hi Martin,

 impressive!!! Always thought 17"alloys would touch the wheel-arch when you go over a speed-bump, even when done gently :)

You probably have superstiff suspension on your 480? :D

Bingo! I have no problem even with passangers either. It´s lowered aswell. I think the designer of the 480 choked  when volvo put 14" on it.. Doesn´t really look like 14" on his sketches..

Hmm, I wonder if they would have the correct offset though.
