Lensos will be fitted later, wouldn't want to scuff them now would I?Ettore Bugatti wrote:It really looks like it comes from star wars, nice.
But where are your Lensos?

Nice wheel .
You know what other type of wheel looks nice on a white 480? The Lenso Concept R! Get them on, i can't wait any longer!
With regards to your bodykit, are you looking for sideskirts? I just wondered as i revisited some old threads last night and a popular mod seemed to be at the time, taking the sill trim off a 440/60... Just wondered.
But wheels man, wheels!

It doesn't hurt too remind DaKyy an extra timeDan the 480 Man wrote: Just seen Ettore's post...
So, i'll just re-phrase it instead: hurry up and get them on!

They'll get to their place, don't worry
And for the sideskirts, yes I'm still looking for them. I really don't know how they look because I've never seen them 'live'. And there isn't much good quality pictures of them laying around either.

Chris1Roll had them-maybe see if he has a full length body shot? But i did see these, posted years ago by MatBat:DaKyy wrote:And for the sideskirts, yes I'm still looking for them. I think they'd look ok on yours as you have the rest of the kit to go with it, and colourcoded white you'd never notice they were added on.
Just a thought anyway!

The little decorative plates on the dash shall get the same treatment. She did the shifter bag from the same material, but it seems quite stiff. I'll try it on though and see how it is...
Edit: oh, the engine got a new head today, though I wasn't there to see it. It'll be running again next week hopefully!

I installed few little niggles today:
- The doorcards are now on their place - looks ace
- Palm Beach finally installed
- Headunit now on its place
- Numberplates fixed on
- Changed normal bulbs for DRL's for the MOT
- Electric antenna now functional
- The boot got the plastic parts back
Things done by the mechanic:
- Bumpers straightened
- New head installed and now working (injectors leaking)
- All brakes adjusted
- Emissions adjusted
- Brakelines from front to back renewed
- New brake pressure regulator installed (the early models adjust the brake pressure by weight, and the regulator gets stuck)
Current problems:
- Something is blocking the bonnet so it seems it doesn't go all the way down -> the microswitch doesn't short -> the popups won't work. This may be some adjustment also...
- Steeringwheel lock stopped working. I remember it has worked but now it doesn't. Hopefully I don't have to change the pilar or the lock because of this. MOT will fail if the lock doesn't work.
ToDo list:
- Install the roof lining.
- Get the foglights wired and working
- Little trim panels on the dash gets the same fake leather on them

Thanks Always nice to hear compliments
I just noticed Volvo original bodykit for sale in german ebay. This may be the same that "azizvienna" referred to on the other thread. The front bumper is complete craphole, but the rear bumber and sideskirts looks ok. I won't be getting it just because of the sideskirts, he seems reluctant to sell them apart. I offered 200e +postage alone for the skirts. Atleast you can see from the pics that the sideskirts are completely different than on the 440/460 bodykits, so they are not an option for me.
