Anyone know how difficult it is to change the clutch on a 740? It's rear wheel drive so I guess it is easier but is it something I could attempt on my own?

Any help much appreciated!
Rob

P.S anyone got any 740 front shocks it MOTable condition knowcking about? I also need a hub cap and boot struts!

should be pretty simple cos its an inline engine.
just leave the engine in place and drop the gearbox, much better than FWD clutch changes!!
buy a haynes for it!

yep pretty easy but some of the gearbox bolts are kindoff hard to get to. Try not to let too much fluid pour out of the clutch mechanism or you could be bleeding it for hours.

I did ours single handedly on my back in the freezing cold in january, its fairly straightforward.

No need to touch the clutch fluid either.

Gearbox with overdrive is heavy mind!!

Well I can only try! This lil project has been put on hold for a month or so while I try and source the relevent parts. The clutch is last on my priorities! Gonn aget it MOTed first and then worry about the clutch later!
