Svenskar HJÄLP
I realize that I shouldn't write topics in swedish but I need to find help from anyone in Sweden, that's why.

Desperat behov!

Greetings oxr

I won't give you an answer in my own 'språk' because you won't understand it: it's dutch <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">
That's why in English:
Just drill 6 holes in the floor at the marked spots, put the 6 small pipes (for keeping the carframe square) in it and fit de bolts. Off coursr first make a small hole in the black plate underneath your rearbumper for the 'krok'-head. The cables you have to connect on the inside of the car at the rearlight cluster.
And ready you are for towing a small 'husvagn' <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... tongue.gif ALT=":p">
(I'm still dutch <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)"> )
Grtz, Bastiaan (Volvo 480 2.0i Collection #372/480)

Home of Volvo 480 Europe

Re: Svenskar HJÄLP
Well, I'll better explain in English. The tow bar (or whatever it's called) is already in place, and I know that I have mounted it correct. The problem is that when you mounts a tow bar in Sweden you have to change the registration form for the car. In Sweden all cars is inspected by 'Bilprovningen' (MOT?) annualy, and they woun't let you pass if you don't bring the mounting manual. So my problem is that the hook is in place , but I need the papers for it.

The main reason for mounting the hook is not to go camping. I will use it for carrying the bike on it (a typical Swedish habit?). If I can't find any papers I will convert it to a bike carrier, but that's my last way of this problem.

Problem solved!
I've got the installation instructions for towing bracket sent to from Volvo in Göteborg. If anyone needs the instructions for Volvo towing bracket nr. 3497879, please send an e-mail and I send you a PDF-file.

oskar.williamsson@home.se
