Arch Update...

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

Arch Update...

Post by Dan the 480 Man » Tue Jan 30, 2007 12:06 pm

At fookin' last!

Tesco + Internet connection = wank service at the moment. But at last...

Anyway-i took a trip to the garage today to see how the old gal's coming along. I was only armed with my Camera Phone so the pics aren't great.

Oh, and i looked at the passenger arch-it was bad too, but not as bad:

and just a reminder of the drivers:

And here's how it seems to be going now:

Drivers (you can't really see alot):

But in the flesh they look bloody good. The passenger side is a near perfect match. I'm well pleased at the moment, just got to see how it turns out. Only a few more day's hopefully!

Thanks for all the kind words and support on the previuos thread-made me feel better! Just glad it's on it's way to being done...just not looking forward to the bill! :scared: I'll keep the thread updated! :)

Yeah they look nice. Rust is the arch-enemy (!) of the 480 owner.

 I'm not blushing!

The price i will state when it's all done. He's doing it slightly cheaper for me-he hasn't got any work in the bodyshop at the moment so he can do it, but if a paid job comes in, mine's put on the back burner till it's done. So although it's not far off, a pretty rusty V reg () Mondeo came in just after i left apparently, so it's off the ramp til thats done, but it should still be all finished by the weekend so he say's!

Getting excited now-just can't wait to get her back! :hopping:

this is very exciting ... can't wait to see it all finished! Sadly, it's something that all us 480 owers will have to face, if you haven't already!

... especially if you own a white one! :D
