480 auto turbo to 5sp manual conversion

I've got a H reg 480 auto turbo only done 68 000miles.<br>The auto gearbox no longer works properly, I would like to replace it with a 5sp manual gearbox.<br>Has this been done before ?<br>What would be involved? dose a standard 5sp gearbox out of a 480 fit straight in. do I change the sub frame.<br>what new parts would be needed.<br>can anyone help???<br><br><br>thanks seslin<br> <p></p><i></i>

If you still want to transfer from auto to manual box, the best is to get a scrapped 4xx series with manual transmission.<br>I recently transferred my auto Citroen Xmtd12 to manual trans, and it was a lot of work, but is possible, and when finished it was pure pleasure to drive!!<br><br>RH. <p></p><i></i>
