What happened to Richard?

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

I can send you my orange ecu if you like. It worked OK in my (1994) car, but wouldn't take much boost increase.

Seriously, Richard is NOT running a business. This is a service he offers to the 480 community, as a member of that you should respect the fact that he has to earn a living, and therefore you may not be top priority in respect of getting a chipped ECU. I do believe this is fairly obvious to most people here, but Richard is an outstandingly helpful bloke.

If your so annoyed about the timescales, why don't you see who else will provdide this service for you and take a look at thier charges, if you can even get it done! No one's forcing you to have your ECU modified, and I believe Richard has always been upfront about the fact he is a extremley busy man, however he always get's round to them in the eventuality of time, so be patient!
