Drag Coefficient
does anyone know the official figure of the drag coefficient of 480? i imagine it should be rather low. And how big the difference does it make between pop-ups being up/down? I do like my pop-up in down position (for as long as the day permits!). I always think the sleeky front looks cool and special too in somebody else's mirror

I think the 480 with pop-up in up position looks very soft and lethargic

Funny, I couldn't disagree more! For me the nose of the 480 really comes alive when the lights are up.Frantic wrote:I fully agree with that. I must be the only driver who hopes for rain or failing light so I can legitimately put my headlights on while there is still daylight enough to see how cool they look. But then I always liked the frogeye Sprite too.
For me there is no finer sight than a row of polished 480s with their headlights up.
Tonee: '93 Two Tone. High mileage but nice 'n' tidy.
Sheba: '91 ES Paris Special. Love that leather, baby. Scrapped and used as a spares car.
