repairing rear panel

Some idiot decided to re-work the drivers panel between the arch and the door with a trailer :-(

quite a savage ding and lovely crease :badmood:

is it easy enough access to remove the panel with the speaker and just 'gently' press it back out, fortunately the paint is only scuffed, not broken but I'd rather not let an insurance company declare the car a write off (not sure if they can if it was the truck driver's fault), we reckon he hooked the trailer on the pedestrian barrier and then it bounced into side of the car

if you are refering to the panel at the side of the rear seats then yes it is very easy to remove...

1 pull off speaker cover

2 this reveals 4 screws undo and remove speaker and plastic mount.

3 insert panel is a pull off.

inner of panel now exposed.

Jim

ta for the info might be quite easy

We need to wait and see what the truck company say before I wade in, I am tempted to let them ask me to get a quote from repair shops then say I'll accept HALF as a cash donation! :D
