Door Cards

Everything that doesn't belong in the previous categories probably belongs here. Interiour (how are the seats mounted? how to remove the CEM?) and exteriour (how to replace the popup-lights shock absorbers or a door) are discussed here!

Door Cards

Post by englemere » Wed Feb 28, 2007 1:22 pm

Does anybody else have a problem getting the fabric insert to stay in the door card?

Both my 480's have suffered from them falling off at the back of the door.

The holes in the cards fit the clips by friction. A little silicone rubber is a good fix.

The previous owner had a go with ptfe tape on this, one - i think the holes are now even bigger!

current cure is velcro, works fine unless you're my girlfriend and slam the door shut :dispute:

Araldite. 12% of my 480 is araldite now. The rest is a mixture of cable ties water and metal
