Wing Mirros - Will 440's Fit 480?

Everything that doesn't belong in the previous categories probably belongs here. Interiour (how are the seats mounted? how to remove the CEM?) and exteriour (how to replace the popup-lights shock absorbers or a door) are discussed here!

Wing Mirros - Will 440's Fit 480?

Post by huwj » Mon Dec 12, 2005 2:30 pm

Need to replace my driver's side mirror but am strugglinmg to find an identical replacement. I have the "old style" big square mirrors. Can anyone confirm if the smaller new style 480 mirrors have the same fitment. Also, are the fittings on the 440 and 460 the same or do they vary

Many thanks!

The 480 smaller mirrors are a direct replacement, and these are partially the same as the 440/460 later types, but not quite, so won't fit. The 440/60 ones are useful only if its the plastic components of the mirror you need to replace.

Basically, you need a 480 mirror, but any year will fit.
