Post by felyx » Sun Sep 21, 2008 9:42 am

right these guys are selling a pricey clutch but in it's description it says renault 5 gt turbo and volvo 480 turbo compatable if made before 12/91 etc

or the CHEAPER item that dos'nt stipulate volvo 480 turbo but just 1.7 480 but also says reault 5 gt turbo .

I wouldn't bother with a performance clutch kit, just get your old one re-manufactured with a more abrassive friction material.

The second clutch on there is the smaller one from the earlier turbos and es', the holes in the pressure plate don't line up with the threads on the larger flywheels (I've tried!) from late turbos and MK2 B20F's.

Think its about £40-50 to get your pressure plate re-surfaced and springs upgraded inc p&p.
Why won't God heal amputees?
