you will have to dismantle the whole dash board, put out the speedo and dismantle that one too (prety hard) and change the small blue gear (20 teeth if i rememer correct). it is used in the transmission on the little motor that drives the number rings through it. don't wory if you can't find one with the right number of theeth, as long as it feets. i have used a gear with a tooth less - in this aplication the gear doesn't affect ratio. you will find the gear at some electonic shop or in some tape-recorders and simmilar - ask by home appliances servicers.
the origi blue gear is made from some kind of rubber which fails - the treeth fall of.

hope you will solve that problem like i did - succesfully!

don't take it wrong.. alwas feel free to ask!
oh and in that faq there's not written how to remove the hazard warning knob - it sits in the dash with two clips. you can acces them from behind, move the dashboard panel slightly forward and press those clips behind the knob together and it will move back, towards the engine. i don't think it's posible to disconnect it, or it is, but hard not to brake something.

good luck! :)

i unplug the big black connector on the hazzard switch.. i can inmagine it is a bit stuck.. use electronic spray as you reapply.

in my case the "reset" button is not working, last time i properly used it was i heard parts falling in the clock.. hmm.. its not worth a aftenoons work yet, i might wait for more things... :(
luck,
JPF
