Superbig problem with electrical sys
Hi all!
Yesterday i had a big prob with my 480T.
Brake lights, IC, tacho, speedo, pop-ups, el.clock, windscreen wipers, power windows,A/F ratiometer.
All gone! They don´t work at all!
Only alternator failing light is working
All fuses are OK!!!
All relays are OK!!!
What is the big black box at leht side in the car near the fusebox?HELLA
Any ideas?
Does anyone have a list of fusebox numbers?
I cant find it!

alternator will charge, cos the rearlights and parking lights are ok, engine working well, fuel pump is OK!...or if the battery light is burning...?martinholmesuk wrote:black L shaped box? It's the 80amp mega fuse.
if this is blown then alternator will not charge!!
try briding the fuse by bolting it up without the fuse.
The L shaped box is the Hella box near the fusebox?
Or the oval box under the hood?

I think the megafuse was a recall item, so quite possible you could have escaped it.
Its often hidden under the metal piece with the bonnet catch attached to it at the front of the engine bay, to the right of the bonnet catch.
