I had the sma eproblem the starter would sort of have work but as the car was turning over it would slightly cease up and the volt meter (turbo's only) would drop to 9 volts then the starter would move and the volt meter go back up, the starter motor is a 1 and half hour job in the SNAP MECHANICS book , and if you can afford it get a mechanic to do it because there bloody pain on turbo's and not much fun on non turbo's

its just a pain in the arse to get to... right at the back almost under the engine, with a heat shield above and below it.....
